Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow (/qe̜d/ /ˈcioːn/ [comic] [trail]) is a subtropical Large City located in Ntidvrescri Parish, Zōzqut Diocese, within the Irus.

The name Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow is derived from the Sylvin language, as Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow was founded by Trikzuk, who was culturaly Wood Elf.

Climate

Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Overview

Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1270, by Trikzuk. The establishment of Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow is buildings are built arround a single premissive cobblestone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The robustly designed timber walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow has the unmistakable air of a city on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow ’s existence has dried up and the city is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The people are clearly worried about something, and everyone is either wearing a weapon or has one close at hand. Your gut tells you it’s not mere fate which has caused this town to begin failing...

Cultural Notes

The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.

Qe̜d Chyhyiōn Hadfow's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
